Welcome! You’ve made your way to my physics-centered blogsite, so thank you for visiting. My name is Greg MacCabe, and here on Logical Tightrope I aim to explore some of my favorite strange and illuminating concepts in physics for your entertainment.
Check out the Featured page for self-contained and broadly stimulating posts, as well as the Deeper Dives page for more detailed tours of various choice topics. The For Anyone page is for more widely-accessible posts.
A little about myself: I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2013 with majors in physics and math, and I’m currently in my second year of the Physics PhD program at Caltech. I work in the group led by Dr. Oskar Painter on projects in nanoscale photonics, superconducting electromechanics, and optomechanics.
If you have any questions, comments, or want to suggest a topic for me to cover, feel free to contact me at LogicalTightrope@gmail.com or through the contact form below.
